This is a very common question I get when people ask about IPL Hair Removal or Super Laser Hair Removal treatments. The answer? Of course! You’re able to shave, trim, bleach or use hair removal creams. However, I always tell my clients to not thread, pluck or wax the area getting treated as this removes the hair from the root which the laser is trying to target! Usually the number of courses depends on the area you’re treating. The finer the hair (such as the upper lip), the more treatments are required such as 8 sessions. And the thicker the hair, the less treatments are required such as 6 sessions.
We always recommend a course of 6 which is one session per month for 6 months.

I often get asked ‘What is the difference between Super Laser and IPL Laser hair removal?’ IPL Laser hair removal works best on smaller areas of the body such as central brow, upper lip, chin, full face, under arms, bikini line, Hollywood, half legs, nose, ears, beard line. On the other hand, Super Laser hair removal works best for targeting the hair root on larger areas of the body including full arms, full legs, full back and full back.
